IS YOUR DOG:
  • JUMPING UP
  • CHEWING YOUR HOUSE
  • GROWLING & BARKING AT MEMBERS OF YOUR FAMILY OR OTHER PEOPLE
  • NOT COMING BACK WHEN CALLED
  • TAKING YOU FOR A WALK
  • GENERALLY BAD MANNERED
  • FIGHTING WITH OTHER DOGS IN THE HOUSEHOLD OR OTHERWISE
  • NOT YET HOUSETRAINED
  • MOUNTING INAPPROPRIATELY etc.

Using methods that are sympathetic to how a dog learns and behaves naturally, we can help your dog to reform his 'naughty' habits and make him a member of the family that you can be proud of.

The Pet Behaviour Centre can arrange a consultation with a qualified behaviour therapist. A careful assessment will be carried out which should determine the cause of behaviour and what may be reinforcing it. A behaviour modification programme will then be advised.

Consultations will be generally be carried out at The Pet Behaviour Centre, but if a home visit is necessary, that can also be arranged. We are based in Glasgow and serve a large area of Scotland.

All breeds and ages of dogs are accepted.

If you live too far away to visit the center, we will be happy to try and recommend someone in your area.

Prior to ringing to make an appointment, please ask your veterinary surgeon to refer your pet to The Pet Behaviour Centre. This is necessary to eliminate any possible medical causes for your dogs behaviour. (You may request referral slips or Royal College approved behaviour forms, available via email/post.)
